Job details:
The VisionAt Octaraa, we believe wealth management is about people, not products. Most firms prioritize sales commissions; we prioritize families. We are looking for a Wealth Advocate who values integrity over incentives. In this role, your success isn’t measured by how many products you sell, but by the financial well-being and peace of mind of the families you serve.
We have intentionally structured this role with a largely fixed salary and negligible sales commissions to ensure your advice remains unbiased, ethical, and entirely centered on the client’s best interest.
Core Responsibilities- Family Stewardship: Act as a dedicated partner to families, understanding their multi-generational goals, aspirations, and risk tolerances.
- Unbiased Advisory: Recommend investment solutions (primarily Mutual Funds) based strictly on the client's financial roadmap rather than payout structures.
- Relationship Continuity: Focus on long-term retention and trust-building rather than one-off transactions.
- Financial Wellness Planning: Conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure portfolios are aligned with life milestones like education, retirement, and legacy planning.
- Education & Support: Serve as the primary educator for clients, simplifying complex market trends and helping them navigate their investment journey with confidence.
- Seamless Onboarding: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a "concierge-level" experience for families during their transition to the Octaraa platform.
Who You Are- Empathy-Led: You listen more than you speak. You understand that behind every portfolio is a human story.
- Ethics-Driven: You are uncomfortable with the "hard sell" culture of traditional banking and are looking for a role where you can sleep well knowing you did right by the client.
- Knowledgeable: You have a deep understanding of Mutual Funds and the broader financial landscape, allowing you to provide sophisticated yet clear advice.
- Communicator: You can translate "finance-speak" into plain English for retail and HNI families alike.
Requirements & Qualifications- Experience: 2–5 years in Wealth Management, Advisory, or Relationship Management within the BFSI sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA/CFP is a plus).
- Certifications: AMFI/NISM V-A certification is mandatory (or must be obtained within 30 days of joining).
- Mindset: A shift from "Target-Oriented" to "Outcome-Oriented." You take pride in the growth and security of your clients' wealth.
Why Join Octaraa?- No Commission Pressure: Focus on doing the right thing, not hitting a payout slab.
- Stability: A competitive fixed salary that rewards your expertise and client retention.
- Purpose: Be part of a movement that is redefining wealth management to be more transparent, ethical, and family-focused.
Note to Candidate: If you are a high-pressure salesperson looking for heavy commissions, this is not the role for you. If you are a financial professional who wants to build a career based on deep-rooted client trust and ethical excellence, we should talk.
