About the Role
We aren't looking for someone who just presses buttons on an editing timeline. Littroi is looking for a content-obsessed Video Editor who lives and breathes podcasts, YouTube, and short-form media.
You need to be someone who actively consumes digital content, understands modern internet trends, and knows what keeps a viewer from clicking away. In this role, you will take full ownership of editing high-value English podcast episodes and long-form videos—transforming raw footage into high-retention, view-driving content across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast & Long-Form Production: Edit multi-camera podcast episodes and long-form videos with precise audio balancing, seamless switching, and tight narrative pacing.
Retention & Hook Strategy: Build compelling video intros and hooks that immediately capture attention and keep audience drop-off to a minimum.
Short-Form Content Engine: Extract the most valuable, viral-worthy moments from podcasts and turn them into fast-paced shorts/reels with engaging captions and visual pop.
Trend & Performance Intelligence: Stay ahead of content trends, viral editing styles, and YouTube/social algorithm shifts to continuously improve view counts and audience engagement.
Motion Graphics & Packaging: Apply custom motion graphics, kinetic typography, lower thirds, and visual elements to enhance story delivery.
English Context & Copy Accuracy: Review and polish English transcriptions, captions, visual text, and on-screen notes to ensure flawless grammar and natural phrasing.
What We Are Looking For
1. Content Mindset & Trend Knowledge
You are a heavy consumer of podcasts, YouTube videos, and social media content.
You intuitively understand what makes content go viral, what drives high click-through rates, and how to edit for audience retention.
2. English Proficiency
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Ability to follow fast-paced English podcasts, accurately edit visual text/captions, and understand subtle cultural/conversational context.
3. Core Technical Skills
Long-Form & Podcast Editing: Expert-level mastery of multi-cam editing and audio cleanup.
Storytelling & Pacing: Strong eye for structure, narrative flow, and cut timing.
Motion Graphics & Sound Design: High skill in graphic overlays, sound effects, and color grading to give content a high-budget feel.
