Role Description The Front Office Associate at Cygnett Inn Sea View, Digha is a full-time, on-site role responsible for delivering a smooth and welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure. This position involves greeting and checking in guests, managing reservations, handling check-outs, and resolving guest queries courteously and efficiently. The role includes operating the front office systems, managing phone calls and emails, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and maintaining accurate records of payments and room status. The Front Office Associate also supports the implementation of hotel policies, promotes available services and amenities, and helps ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain organized and presentable.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally and courteously.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel reservation or property management systems is preferred.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous front office or hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per hotel requirements.
- Minimum educational background of high school diploma; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
