Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Materials Planning Manager based in Maharashtra, India. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage materials planning and inventory to meet production schedules and operational goals. The day-to-day tasks include demand and production planning, optimizing material procurement, ensuring efficient inventory control, and data analysis to drive process improvements. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to address supply chain and material needs effectively.
Proficiency in Demand Planning and Production Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal production scheduling.
Strong expertise in Materials Management and Inventory Control to oversee supply and stock levels effectively.
Well-developed Analytical Skills to evaluate data and identify areas for improvement in material flow processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in the manufacturing or supply chain industry is advantageous.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and related software tools.
