Novae Zeal is a science-driven food innovation startup working at the intersection of plant-based product development, biotechnology, enzyme-assisted processing, clean-label ingredient systems, and sustainable food technology.
We are looking for a motivated R&D Intern to support hands-on product development and laboratory work in Coimbatore.
This role is suitable for freshers or recent graduates who are interested in applied food science, experimental trials, process observation, and product development.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe intern will support:
- Research and product development trials
- Laboratory testing, sampling, and sample preparation
- Enzyme-assisted process studies
- Formulation trials and product optimization
- Texture, stability, and reconstitution observations
- Experimental data recording, analysis, and interpretation
- Scientific documentation and reporting
- Coordination with the internal team to support ongoing R&D activities
Who Can ApplyFreshers or recent graduates from:
Food Technology | Food Science | Biotechnology | Microbiology | Biochemistry |
Preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Coimbatore or can reliably work on-site in Coimbatore.
Preferred Skills- Basic understanding of R&D and laboratory practices
- Good analytical and observation skills
- Ability to record experimental data clearly
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Interest in food innovation, biotechnology, and product development
- Willingness to work in a hands-on startup R&D environment
