Requirement
Quantitx Private Limited is hiring a Principal Officer for its proposed Cryptocurrency Exchange (Virtual Digital Asset Service Provider).
Mandatory Eligibility
The candidate should:
- Have 3–4+ years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs, or Financial Crime Compliance.
- Be eligible to serve as the Principal Officer under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) requirements applicable to Virtual Digital Asset Service Providers.
- Be capable of working as a full-time Principal Officer and should not hold a concurrent Principal Officer or equivalent compliance role with any other organization.
- Be at a management level with sufficient seniority and authority to independently discharge compliance responsibilities.
- Have a thorough understanding of:
- AML/CFT regulations
- KYC & Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA)
- FIU-IND reporting obligations
- Risk Assessment Framework
- Financial Crime Compliance
- Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR)
- Have knowledge of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (ML/TF) risks, typologies, and emerging risks relating to Virtual Digital Assets.
- Be able to interact with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement agencies whenever required.

- Payment Aggregator / Payment Gateway

- Regulatory Compliance / AML Teams
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the designated Principal Officer for AML/CFT compliance.
- Ensure compliance with PMLA, FIU-IND requirements, and internal compliance policies.
- Implement and monitor AML/KYC/CFT frameworks.
- Conduct enterprise-wide ML/TF risk assessments.
- Review suspicious transactions and oversee regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with FIU-IND, regulators, auditors, and law enforcement authorities.
- Present periodic AML/CFT compliance reports to senior management/Board.
- Maintain regulatory documentation and ensure timely compliance.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary, or related discipline.
- AML, Compliance, Risk Management, CAMS, ICA, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
