Tare Zameen Foundation | NGO | Social Impact
We are looking for a creative Design Volunteer to support the design of our Annual Report, showcasing impact across education, women empowerment, and nutrition programs.
⏱ Time Commitment: ~7 hours per week | 📍 Mode: Remote
🔧 Key Responsibilities & Skills Required
🎨 Design & Layout Skills
- Annual report, brochure, or publication layout design
- Strong understanding of typography, spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy
- Consistent application of brand colors, fonts, and style guidelines
🛠️ Design Tools
- Proficiency in Canva (NGO-friendly & collaborative)
- OR Adobe InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of Figma (optional)
📊 Data Visualization
- Convert program data into infographics, charts, and tables
- Visual storytelling for impact numbers and outcomes
- Clear presentation of financial summaries (non-audit level)
✍️ Content & Storytelling Support
- Design around case studies, success stories, and testimonials
- Structure long content into reader-friendly sections
- Understanding of donor and CSR-focused communication
📄 Print & Digital Readiness
- Prepare print-ready PDFs (bleed, margins, resolution)
- Optimize digital PDFs for email, website, and CSR sharing
🤝 Collaboration & Process
- Work remotely with NGO teams
- Accept feedback and revisions constructively
- Meet timelines with limited weekly hours (7 hrs/week)
❤️ NGO & Social Sector Understanding
- Sensitivity toward beneficiary dignity and ethical storytelling
- Understanding of impact reporting for NGOs (preferred, not mandatory)
🧠 Ideal Profile
- Skills in Canva / Adobe InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma
- Experience or interest in report, brochure, or publication design
- Ability to present information clearly and creatively
- Interest in NGO / social impact work
- Availability to commit ~7 hours per week
