QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate and Speech-Language Specialist
Endorsement
2. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in the field of speech-language pathology
3. Ability to effectively apply the principles of assessment, treatment and prevention
of speech, language and hearing disorders
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5. Satisfactory health status
6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or
legal resident alien status
7. Such alternatives to the above as the Board of Education may find appropriate
and acceptable
JOB GOAL:
To help reduce or eliminate speech and hearing impediments that may interfere with
the students' ability to derive full benefit from the district's education program.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1. Salary will be prorated (based on part-time equivalent) of WTEA teacher guides, step 1, provided below. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
Step 1 BA: $61,025, Step 1 BA + 30: $63,577, Step 1 MA: $64,852, etc.
