Job Description – Water & Wastewater Engineer
Experience

Job Summary
The Water & Wastewater Engineer will be responsible for planning, design, analysis, and execution support of Water & Wastewater treatment projects. The role requires hands-on experience in treatment process design, hydraulic calculations, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, in compliance with Indian standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and review RO, WWTP, WTP, STP, and ETP systems
•Design and application of membrane filtration systems including Ultrafiltration (UF) and Nanofiltration (NF)
• Perform process design calculations for screening, grit removal, sedimentation, aeration systems (ASP, SBR, MBBR), clarifiers, filters, and disinfection
• Prepare hydraulic profiles and head loss calculations
• Design water supply and sewer networks including pumping mains
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and layouts
• Use AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Support tendering, BOQ preparation, and technical bid evaluation
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams
• Assist in site execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Prepare design reports, DPRs, and technical documentation
Qualifications
• B.Tech / BE in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• M.Tech in Environmental Engineering – Preferred
Required Skills
• 4–5 years of experience in water and wastewater projects in India
• Strong understanding of biological and physio-chemical treatment processes
• Knowledge of Indian codes and regulatory approvals
• Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience with consulting firms, EPC contractors, or utilities
• Exposure to industrial wastewater treatment
• Site execution or commissioning experience
