1. JOB DETAILS:

Position Title: Projects Manager

2. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Projects Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of real estate projects, overseeing planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover phases. The role ensures adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while maintaining alignment with stakeholder requirements and regulatory standards. This position demands project leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and strategic problem-solving.

4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception through completion, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
  • Lead design coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist consultants to ensure deliverable alignment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, and milestone tracking systems.
  • Oversee procurement planning and monitor contractor performance against technical and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive monitoring, reporting, and contingency planning.
  • Ensure timely reporting to leadership on progress, risks, KPIs, and project health indicators.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and maintain transparency with internal and external parties.
  • Enforce scope control and implement structured change management to assess and approve variations.
  • Drive compliance with UAE regulatory frameworks, building codes, and global standards in quality and safety.
  • Contribute to project close-out, lessons learned, and transition to asset management or operations.

6. CONTEXT, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:

Field and office-based role responsible for daily decision-making in project execution. Exercises authority over contractors, vendors, and internal coordination within defined scopes and delegated limits.


7. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manages project budgets, controls expenditures, and contributes to value engineering to ensure cost-effective delivery.


8. SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Qualifications (Essential):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • Experience (Essential):
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in managing real estate or construction projects
  • Experience (Desirable):
  • Exposure to UAE regulations, FIDIC contracts, and project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
