Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled WAS Admin + DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere, Shell Scripting, and Middleware Administration.
This role demands deep expertise in production support, automation, and troubleshooting in critical environments.
Mandatory Skills (Strictly Required)
IBM WebSphere (WAS)
- Application deployment, server configuration, clustering
- Production support, incident resolution
- Trace gathering, PMR handling, MustGather
- WAS ND environment (preferred)
- WSADMIN scripting (good to have)
Shell Scripting (Mandatory)
- Write scripts from scratch
- Troubleshoot scripts
- Automation & deployment scripting
Apache Tomcat
- Deployment, configuration, troubleshooting
- SSL integration
- Production support
SSL / Security
- SSL Certificates, Keystore/Truststore
- SSL handshake, 2-way SSL
- OpenSSL troubleshooting
Web/API Understanding
- HTTP methods, headers, payloads
- API troubleshooting via CLI tools
DevOps Tools
- Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
- Ansible (Playbooks & automation)
Good to Have
- Kubernetes, Docker
- Linux Administration
- WebLogic / JBoss
- Vulnerability & CVE analysis

Important Notes
- Strong WAS + Shell scripting is mandatory
- Profiles without Tomcat + troubleshooting will be rejected
- Pure DevOps/Cloud profiles without middleware experience will NOT be considered
