Our community was established with the mission "to provide seniors with a vibrant, missional and purposeful lifestyle through every phase of their golden years."
We are seeking a Full-time Chaplain to join our team!
The Chaplain is responsible to provide oversight for the spiritual care and nurture of all residents and staff. The chaplain will be a vital part of the team who is charged with helping WBSC carry out its purpose and mission. The chaplain will be supportive of the distinctives of the Free Methodist Church USA while able to relate to a diversity of residents and staff of all religious persuasions and perspectives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Worship and spiritual formation including the planning, coordination of weekly non-denominational Sunday service
- Contact new residents as soon after their arrival as possible.
- Stay in contact with all critically ill patients and their families.
- Be aware of all residents who are on Comfort Care or at End-Of-Life offering, or arranging for, spiritual care to them and their families.

Qualifications:
- An ordained minister if the Free Methodist church preferred.
- A person with broad experience in a number of disciplines such as, but not limited to, preaching, counseling, instructing and teaching.
- 3. Able to relate to persons of different faiths with a spirit of loving care and understanding.
- 4. Have an ability to work with the sick and dying.
- 5. Some experience in working with the older person (gerontology).
- 6. A genuine personal faith exemplified by life and action.
