Job Title: Warehouse Head/Manager

Location: Amraiwadi, Ahmedabad
Working Days: 6 Days working
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Head to independently manage the complete warehouse and inventory operations for our apparel manufacturing unit, including fabric, garments, packaging material, logistics, dispatch, storage, material flow, and inventory control, for a workforce of approximately 100+ employees.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Complete ownership of warehouse operations and inventory management
- End-to-end handling of inward, outward, storage, dispatch, and logistics
- Inventory control covering fabric, garments, packaging material, and consumables
- Material flow management between warehouse, production, and dispatch
- Management of goods return processes, discrepancies, and issue resolution
- Handling and management of warehouse labour team (attendance, productivity, discipline)
- Coordination and management of transporters and logistics partners
- Implementation of SOPs, warehouse discipline, and process standardization
- Shrinkage control, loss prevention, and audit readiness
- Tech-friendly approach with exposure to ERP/WMS systems
- Ability to generate and manage warehouse MIS, service-level reports, and performance dashboards
- Strong alignment with management for warehouse output, service quality, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Cost optimization and operational improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership, execution ability, and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of apparel warehouse and inventory management
- Experience handling fabric, garments, and packaging material inventory
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with ERP / WMS systems
- Strong analytical, reporting, and MIS skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong coordination skills with production, logistics, and management teams
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in Warehouse / Inventory Management
- Mandatory experience in Apparel Manufacturing / Textile / Fashion Industry
- Proven track record in warehouse operations, logistics management, and inventory control
- Experience handling large warehouse teams and high-volume inventory
