Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Warehouse Station Manager. The Warehouse Station Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and ensure timely and efficient order processing. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, maintaining compliance with safety standards, optimizing space utilization, monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, and coordinating logistical activities to meet customer requirements. The individual will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records and developing strategies to improve warehouse workflows.
Qualifications
- Operational skills, including inventory management, warehouse organization, and logistics coordination
- Leadership and management experience, including the ability to lead teams and oversee daily operations
- Familiarity with compliance standards and safety regulations for warehouse environments
- Data management and reporting skills to maintain accurate inventory records and analyze warehouse performance
- Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with teams, vendors, and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics management roles is a strong advantage
