Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Specialist role based in Patna. The Warehouse Specialist will handle day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving incoming materials, unloading deliveries, and verifying documentation and quantities. The role involves organizing and packing products, preparing shipments, and ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment such as pallet jacks. The Warehouse Specialist will manage inventory control activities, including stock counts, updating records, and reporting discrepancies to supervisors. The position also requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, complying with company safety standards, and coordinating with logistics, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely material flow.
Qualifications
- Shipping & Receiving skills to manage incoming and outgoing materials, verify documentation, and coordinate with carriers.
- Experience in Packing and Unloading to handle goods safely, prepare orders for dispatch, and protect products from damage.
- Inventory Control abilities to track stock levels, perform regular counts, and update warehouse records accurately.
- Proficiency in operating a Pallet Jack and other basic material-handling equipment, following safety procedures.
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work accurately in a fast-paced setting, and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for using inventory management systems and preparing simple reports.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Willingness and physical ability to perform manual material handling tasks and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in warehousing or logistics is an advantage.
