About the position:
Working with WOW will provide the Staff Accountant with the opportunity to work closely with the Company Controller and accounting team in a fast-growing organization. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting. The Staff Accountant will gain broad exposure to core accounting functions and play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable activities including invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliations, and expense report review
- Perform accounts receivable activities including cash application, customer account maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support financial reporting and analysis as requested by the Controller
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and other accounting projects as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting and operational initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred (public or industry)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
