Role Overview
TIGC is looking for a highly driven and operationally strong Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch planning, team supervision, and overall warehouse efficiency.
The role requires ownership of the complete warehouse ecosystem including inward & outward movement, stock accuracy, process implementation, vendor coordination, compliance, audits, and manpower management while ensuring operational excellence and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
· Lead and manage complete day-to-day warehouse operations.
· Ensure smooth inward, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
· Monitor warehouse productivity, operational KPIs, and turnaround timelines.
· Develop and implement SOPs for warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
· Ensure optimal space utilization and warehouse layout management.
Inventory Management
· Maintain accurate inventory records and stock visibility across systems.
· Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities.
· Monitor inventory movement, ageing, damages, shrinkage, and stock variance.
· Ensure proper inventory controls and minimize losses or discrepancies.
· Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams for stock planning.
Team & Manpower Management
· Lead warehouse staff, supervisors, loaders, and operational teams.
· Allocate responsibilities and manage workforce productivity.
· Conduct training, performance monitoring, and discipline management.
· Drive accountability, operational ownership, and process adherence within the team.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
· Oversee dispatch planning and shipment execution.
· Coordinate with logistics partners and transport vendors for timely deliveries.
· Ensure documentation accuracy for dispatches, GRNs, invoices, and stock transfers.
· Monitor turnaround times and delivery performance metrics.
Process Improvement & Compliance
· Drive warehouse process automation and operational improvements.
· Ensure adherence to safety standards, compliance requirements, and warehouse regulations.
· Maintain proper documentation for audits and operational reporting.
· Implement best practices for inventory handling and warehouse management.
Reporting & MIS
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse MIS reports.
· Track operational KPIs including inventory accuracy, dispatch timelines, productivity, and losses.
· Present operational insights and improvement plans to management.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
· Expertise in warehouse processes, dispatch management, and stock control.
· Experience in ERP/WMS systems and operational reporting.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent analytical, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments.
· Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and audit processes.
Qualification & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
· 8–10+ years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
· Prior experience managing large warehouse operations and teams preferred.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates from logistics, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain-driven industries will be preferred.
