About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and execution-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead the field logistics team responsible for procuring and moving pre-owned two-wheelers.
The ideal candidate will have strong operational expertise, experience managing field teams, and the ability to ensure efficient warehouse operations, seamless vehicle movement, and effective coordination across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations for incoming and outgoing two-wheelers.
- Lead, train, and monitor a team of Logistics Executives.
- Plan and allocate daily field activities to ensure timely vehicle procurement and movement.
- Oversee vehicle receiving, documentation, inventory management, and stock accuracy.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow.
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and warehouse discipline.
- Handle operational escalations and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Track team productivity, attendance, and key performance metrics.
- Prepare operational reports and identify process improvements.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and vehicle security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- Experience managing field operations or logistics teams is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the automobile, automotive, mobility, e-commerce, or logistics industry.
- Hands-on experience managing vehicle inventory and transportation operations.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software is an added advantage.
