Role Description
The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to optimize workflow, maintain organized storage, and manage inventory efficiently. Responsibilities include stock control, inventory management, coordinating operations, and ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of goods. The role also requires supervising warehouse staff, maintaining safety protocols, and managing equipment such as forklifts. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.
Qualifications
- Experience in Stock Control and Inventory Management to ensure seamless handling of goods and materials.
- Proficiency in Operations Management to implement efficient processes and improve overall warehouse performance.
- Ability to operate and manage Forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities to manage warehouse operations effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in team leadership and staff coordination is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software is advantageous.
