Job Description: DC Manager (Grocery Operations)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager with strong expertise in grocery warehouse operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse activities including inventory, inbound, outbound, manpower, and transport operations while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations for grocery products, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound flow
- Oversee inventory management, including stock accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation
- Handle inbound processes such as receiving, putaway, and quality checks
- Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch operations
- Manage transport coordination for on-time dispatch and delivery
- Lead and supervise warehouse manpower, including shift planning and productivity tracking
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs like productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time
- Ensure proper space utilization and warehouse hygiene standards
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements for efficiency and cost control
System & Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of SAP for warehouse operations
- Ability to generate and analyze reports for decision-making
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grocery warehouse management
- Strong understanding of inventory, inbound, outbound, and transport operations
- Experience in handling large teams and driving productivity
- Good problem-solving and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Experience in handling high-volume warehouse operations
