Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, audits, and stock reconciliation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff to maintain productivity and operational discipline.
- Implement and monitor warehouse safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and dispatch.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining proper documentation and tracking.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to support smooth inventory flow and business operations.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch management.
- Inventory management and stock control with experience in cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP tools, and MS Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Team leadership and workforce management to supervise, train, and improve warehouse staff productivity.
- Knowledge of safety standards, compliance procedures, and warehouse operational best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills to manage daily warehouse activities efficiently.
Qualification: MBA or Related Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
