Seeking a Dynamic Workshop Manager for a Retail product and service Brand.
Job Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate technicians to ensure high efficiency, performance, and output
• Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day workshop activities, allocate tasks, and monitor productivity across processes
• Target Management: Set and track daily and weekly production targets to
ensure consistent performance
• Workflow Optimisation: Improve processes to increase productivity, reduce
delays, and enhance turnaround time
• FIFO Management: Ensure proper First-In-First-Out handling for the timely completion of orders without compromising quality
• Backlog Management: Monitor pending jobs and take corrective actions to avoid delays or production pile-ups
• Quality Control: Maintain high service standards and support quality checks during operations
• Priority Handling: Manage urgent and express orders efficiently to meet timelines
• Reporting: Maintain and share daily/weekly productivity and performance reports
• Coordination: Work closely with operations, logistics, and support teams to ensure smooth workflow
Job Requirements
• Proven experience in managing workshop/warehouse operations or a similar environment of 2+ years
• Experience handling a blue-collar workforce
• Strong knowledge of premium retail services and care for luxury goods (handbags, shoes, accessories)
• Good understanding of workflow management and FIFO processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment
• Proficiency in reporting and basic data management (MS Excel preferred)
