Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations at our Tarapur manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, warehousing, material movement, dispatch planning, and warehouse personnel while ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is ideally suited for professionals from the chemical industry with strong warehouse management experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations● Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, and consumables.
● Ensure efficient warehouse layout, storage optimization, and proper material handling practices.
● Monitor warehouse productivity and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Inventory Management● Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory reconciliation through periodic stock audits.
● Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and inventory losses.
● Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable for material management.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination● Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and customer dispatches.
● Oversee loading and unloading operations while ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
● Maintain dispatch documentation and coordinate transportation activities.
Compliance & Safety● Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, statutory regulations, and EHS standards.
● Maintain proper documentation for inventory transactions, stock movements, and audits.
● Promote safe material handling and housekeeping practices throughout the warehouse.
Systems & Reporting● Manage warehouse operations using ERP systems and maintain accurate inventory records.
● Generate warehouse MIS reports, inventory analysis, and KPI dashboards for management.
● Support internal and external audits related to inventory and warehouse operations.
Team Leadership● Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and accuracy.
● Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Education
M.Sc. preferred
Experience
Minimum 15 years in Warehouse Management within the Chemical Industry
Industry
Mandatory: Chemical Industry experience
Core Knowledge
Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, Dispatch Planning, Material Handling, ERP Systems, Stock Control, Logistics Coordination
Leadership
Proven experience managing warehouse teams and large-scale inventory operations
Location
Candidates residing in Western Suburbs of Mumbai preferred
