Role Overview
The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless, cost-efficient, and timely movement of goods across the supply chain—from factory to warehouse to customer.
This is a high-execution, operations-critical role that requires:
- Strong ownership of logistics performance
- Tight control over inventory and dispatches
- Vendor and partner coordination
- Ability to solve operational bottlenecks in real time
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, strong service levels, and scalable supply chain systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain & Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations including:
- Transportation
- Warehousing
- Dispatch & delivery
- Ensure on-time dispatch and delivery performance
- Optimize routes, freight, and distribution processes
2. Cost Optimization & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs
- Improve turnaround times and operational efficiency
- Drive process improvements and standardization
3. Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage and negotiate with:
- Transporters
- Freight partners
- 3PL providers
- Ensure service quality, cost control, and reliability
- Build strong vendor relationships for scale
4. Inventory & Warehouse Control
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and stock movement
- Maintain warehouse discipline and process compliance
- Prevent stock loss, damage, or inaccuracies
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor key metrics such as:
- Delivery timelines
- Cost per shipment
- Fill rates
- Order accuracy
- Generate daily/weekly reports and insights
- Drive data-backed decision making
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Sales teams (for demand planning)
- Procurement (for stock availability)
- Operations / Production
- Align logistics with business growth requirements
7. Issue Resolution & Execution
- Resolve shipment delays, damages, and disruptions
- Proactively identify and fix process gaps
- Ensure high levels of customer and partner satisfaction
What We’re Looking For

- Strong experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Operations / Business / related field
- 4–8 years of experience in logistics / supply chain management
- Experience in consumer durables / appliances / FMCG preferred
