Role Description The Warehouse Loading role is a full-time, remote position focused on coordinating and overseeing loading-related activities to ensure efficient movement of goods. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing shipments, preparing packing lists, monitoring inventory records, and coordinating with onsite warehouse staff on loading, unloading, and dispatch schedules. The role involves verifying shipping documents, updating inventory systems, and communicating order status to the production and sales teams. The individual will support adherence to safety and handling standards by providing clear instructions and documentation to onsite personnel. This role requires consistent communication through digital tools to manage tasks, resolve discrepancies, and maintain smooth warehouse operations from a remote location.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes, including documentation, labeling, and coordination with logistics partners.
- Skills in Packing and Unloading workflows, with an understanding of safe handling practices and basic load planning.
- Experience with Inventory Control, including stock tracking, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records in inventory systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as Pallet Jack operations and related material handling procedures (hands-on or supervisory experience).
- Ability to work remotely using warehouse management or ERP software, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow and enforce standard operating procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing support is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
