Role Description

A Warehouse Executive for Cold Storage manages all facility operations, focusing on temperature-sensitive inventory, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, safety (HSSE), and compliance (FDA/Govt norms), leading staff (hiring, training, scheduling), optimizing stock flow (FIFO/FEFO, accuracy), managing client/vendor relations, and driving cost-effective improvements in receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, all while maintaining equipment and reporting performance metrics.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Operations Management: Oversee daily activities (receiving, storage, dispatch), manage work routes, allocate resources, and ensure smooth material flow. 
• Inventory & Stock Control: Implement FEFO/FIFO, conduct cycle counts, reconcile data, manage stock levels, and resolve discrepancies. 
• Temperature & Compliance: Monitor & maintain precise temperature/humidity, ensure HSSE, hygiene, and statutory compliance (e.g., Pharma cold chain norms). 
• People Management: Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a strong safety culture. 
• Client & Vendor Relations: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies for seamless service and SLA adherence. 
• Process Improvement: Drive efficiency, implement new systems, monitor KPIs (e.g., zero errors, full compliance), and control costs. 
• Reporting: Generate MIS, status reports, dead stock reports, and performance analytics. 
• Equipment & Maintenance: Oversee equipment performance, coordinate maintenance, and ensure facility upkeep.  

Essential Skills & Qualifications 

• Experience in cold chain logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations. 
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Knowledge of WMS, HSSE standards, and regulatory compliances. 
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (cold/hot).  

Reporting Structure 

• Reports to Warehouse Manager or Operations Head. 
• Manages a team of warehouse staff.  

Salary Slab 

• Between Rs 3,00,000 to Rs 3,60,000 (Based on the previous drawn.)
