Job Description-

To identify the sales opportunities through market bookings, creating compelling value propositions, target on maintaining and developing customer relationships through ethical sales methods to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction which benefits of our cold storage facilities to potential clients. The primary goal is to ensure the cold storage facility is utilized to its full potential.

Experience-

  • 5+ years of experience in Cold Chain Warehouse/Ambient Warehouse Sales/Reefer Logistics/Supply Chain Industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of the areas of Cold Storage Sales, Marketing & Business Development.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Responsible for assigned account and territory sales for Cold Storage.
  • Responsible to cultivate business with new and existing customers.
  • Identify new opportunities in existing and adjacent markets.
  • Manage business development activities to achieve profitability and revenue targets.
  • Ensure continuous improvements to systems and processes for better reporting.
  • Provide strategic advice on risk and opportunity considerations to senior management.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
  • Develop a new business through market business and vendor management for market booking and network connections in warehouse space will be an asset.
  • Focus on achieving and keeping profitable market business.
  • Managing receivables/collection as per agreed terms with vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Customer Service, Operations and Logistics team.

Skills & Other Responsibilities:

  • Diplomatic skills to be used in front of the customers.
  • Customer centric mind set, focused on building and improving customer relationships and utilizing value selling.
  • Basic IT skills (MS Office etc.)
  • Maintain Office Decorum & Hygiene
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Master/ bachelor’s degree
