The Lead Painter/Foreman owns residential painting projects from the first piece of tape to the final walkthrough — in the field every day, leading by example, and delivering the kind of work homeowners remember.
A company van and all major tools are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small crew through interior and exterior residential painting projects.
- Perform and oversee all phases of surface prep - patching, sanding, caulking, and priming.
- Apply paint and stain using brush, roller, and sprayer at a professional level.
- Cut clean lines and deliver smooth, consistent finishes every time.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and protected throughout the project.
- Inspect work at every phase and hold your crew to the same standard you hold yourself.
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and scope changes to management.
- Conduct professional final walkthroughs with homeowners - leave them genuinely impressed.
- Train and mentor apprentice painters on technique, standards, and what great work actually looks like.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional painting experience.
- Proven ability to lead a crew and manage a job site independently.
- Proficiency with brush, roller, and sprayer application.
- Strong knowledge of surface prep and finish standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work at heights on ladders and scaffolding.
- A genuine desire to be the best painter you can be - and to bring others up with you.
