Job Summary:
The Tractor-Trailer Driver will safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates a semi-truck in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
- Transports loads safely and promptly over the required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
- Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals.
- Safely back into the docks repeatedly during the workday.
- Safely couples and uncouples trailers multiple times a day.
- Labels freight.
- May assist with loading or unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads and returns all equipment to the designated area.
- Maintains and uploads signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork using apps or technology; delivers documentation to the shipping office or other appropriate staff when the delivery route is complete.
- Completes daily pre-trip on equipment; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shop Manager.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Must hold the required commercial driver's license appropriate for the weight of the vehicle to be operated.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A CDL experience required.
- No more than 3 moving violations- 3 years.
- No CHARGABLE DOT ACCIDENTS-3 years
- No “serious” violation (reckless or careless driving, DUI, or failure to submit, etc.) in the past 3 years.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License required. Doubles/ Triples endorsement a plus
- Manual transmission experience
- Excellent backing skills
- Clean MVR
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language.
- Must be able to learn and use technology-based solutions for timekeeping, dispatches, and Logs.
- Great attitude and work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds at a time.
