Full-Stack Software Engineer

Wanderlog helps make leisure travel easier. We believe that travel makes the world better, and are building tools that lower the bar to it. Our core product, built starting 2019, is a travel planning app (we're the top-ranked trip planner on iOS and Android), but we're also helping travelers book hotels (without hidden fees), providing them with information (through various pages on e.g., best attractions, restaurants, etc.), and more.

Today, Wanderlog (https://wanderlog.com) is one of the top-ranked travel apps on the iOS and Android App Stores (just try searching "travel" or "trip planner"). We've hired over 10 interns and new grads over the course of our company, and are experienced at mentoring and growing the skills of all of our employees. Our team of 8 consists of engineers and designers who've worked at Google, Stripe, Doordash, and McKinsey. Peter and Harry (the cofounders) were featured in the New York Times for building Yale's most popular course selection website (https://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/22/nyregion/yale-students-tangle-with-university-over-yale-blue-book-website.html). We're well-funded by backers including Y Combinator (a startup incubator that's funded AirBnB, Stripe, and others) and General Catalyst (a venture capital firm that's funded Kayak, Snap, and Gusto). We're also profitable.
