The Walnut Creek School District is seeking a guest teacher for a long-term substitute position from late March 2026 through the end of the school year in a Kindergarten classroom at Walnut Heights Elementary.

EdJoin Certificated Application Resume Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject Credential, TPSL, 30-day sub permit (with experience) or the ability to obtain one. Please be sure to list at least two current references.

Daily sub rate of $240

Applications reviewed and accepted throughout the school year. The Walnut Creek School District is located in Northern California in the Bay Area. We operate five K-5 neighborhood elementary schools (three with TK), one K-8 school, and one 6-8 intermediate school. Grades TK-5 are primarily self-contained, while grades 6-8 offer a mixture of core and elective classes. The district serves a population of approximately 3,600 students within the city of Walnut Creek.
