Data Analyst III

Assumes duties of Project Manager II, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager II, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with project teams on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice/guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues need to be elevated. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Identifies root causes and develops potential solutions for Innovation initiatives, as assigned by supervisor, by analyzing data, processes and information through multiple techniques (for example, data analysis, data mining, trend analysis, financial analysis); and making recommendations based on data and observations. Collects, organizes, and validates data, processes and information by conducting process observations, mapping, interviews, time studies, data mining and trend analyses; utilizing multiple internal and external sources; and analyzing data using basic statistical techniques. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
