Role: AWS Cloud ops/Infra

Interview Date: 11th April 26(Saturday)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage and operate AWS cloud infrastructure across dev, test, and production environments
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution for infrastructure issues
• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS resources: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route 53
• Implement backup, recovery, patching, and upgrade processes
• Ensure security best practices, IAM access controls, and compliance standards
• Automate routine operational tasks using shell scripting, Python, or AWS CLI
• Optimize cloud usage and improve cost efficiency
• Support infrastructure changes, releases, and deployments
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams

Required Skills

AWS Cloud

• Hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ELB, ASG, CloudWatch)
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, security groups, NACLs, and IAM policies
• Experience in troubleshooting AWS infrastructure issues

Operations & Infrastructure

• Experience supporting production environments with 24x7 availability requirements
• Knowledge of Linux system administration fundamentals
• Experience with monitoring, alerts, and log analysis

Automation & Tools

• Working knowledge of Shell scripting or Python
• Experience with AWS CLI and basic infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and ITIL processes

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Basics of Docker / Kubernetes
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate)
