Job Description: Automation Testing
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Automation Testing Lead to lead end-to-end testing activities, define testing strategies, and act as the primary quality owner for projects. The role requires strong expertise in automation testing tools, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, developers, and Agile squads to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- Automation Testing experience with at least one of the following tools:
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Playwright
- TOSCA
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)
- JUnit
- Mockito
- REST Assured
- JMeter
- Protractor
- BDD Frameworks
- Strong programming skills (Java or equivalent)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and drive results in fast-paced Agile environments
Requirement Analysis & Planning
- Understand and analyze project testing requirements.
- Organize and lead project kick-off meetings for QA team members.
- Establish and drive the BDD framework across projects.
- Testing Strategy & Team Leadership
- Define and implement effective testing strategies and approaches.
- Build, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled testing professionals with the right attitude and ownership mindset.
- Test Environment & Process Setup
- Arrange software and hardware requirements to set up testing environments.
- Create and manage simulators as required.
- Implement, enforce, and monitor testing processes in line with organizational standards.
- Test Design & Documentation Review
- Review test cases and test documentation prepared by test engineers.
- Track and ensure alignment with new or updated project requirements.
- Stakeholder Escalation & Reporting
- Escalate risks, dependencies, and requirement gaps to the Senior Test Manager or Project Manager.
- Provide weekly project progress updates and participate in client and internal calls.
- Client Communication
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between testing, development teams, and the client.
- Manage client expectations and ensure transparency in test execution and reporting.
- Reporting & Delivery Management
- Review test metrics and reports to ensure quality and completeness.
- Ensure timely achievement of testing milestones and deliverables.
- Agile & Professional Excellence
- Work independently within Agile squads.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
