Role Description
The Business Development Executive plays a vital role in supporting sales and logistics operations by coordinating between account executives, operations teams, customers, and carrier partners. The role focuses on business development, customer relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business acquisition through cold calling, email outreach, and lead generation
• Monitor daily sales activities, pipelines, and team performance metrics
• Develop and implement sales strategies to improve conversion rates and revenue
• Participate in client discussions, negotiations, and deal closures
• Collaborate with management to align sales goals with business objectives
• Track market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in EdTech, tele sales, logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team-oriented with a customer-focused attitude
