OverviewThe Speech Language Pathologist in the acute care setting is responsible for administering speech/language and dysphagia diagnostic and treatment services to patients and maintaining appropriate records. Position provides age specific direct patient care according to the department's scope of services and is responsible for observing and evaluating treatment effect and results and discuss them with the patient, family, team and management. The primary setting for this position is Cary Hospital and may be required to cover other areas of the WakeMed Rehab Continuum as needed.
