Housekeeping Relief Worker

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of buildings operated by the Center and ensure that the buildings are maintained at the highest standards and quality in keeping with the nature of the services provided such as sweeping and moping of floors; vacuuming carpeted areas; cleaning and maintaining (supplies) in bathrooms; cleaning walls, doors and windows; removal and storage of soiled laundry; maintain and stock housekeeping storage rooms; and all related housekeeping duties. Must be available on weekends for 12-hour day/night shift. Additionally, this position is expected to be available on-call for temporary housekeeping support as needed.

Education/Experience: 

1.  High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2.  A minimum of at least one (1) year of housekeeping experience within a healthcare facility or two (2) years general housekeeping experience required

3.  A valid Driver's License preferred

4.  Ability to read and write in English required
