About Grant’s House
Grant’s House is a residential and community-based program designed to provide supportive, structured living opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The program focuses on independence, life skills development, and community involvement in a safe and welcoming environment. Team members play a key role in fostering growth, stability, and positive daily experiences for residents.
Position Overview
As a Summer Camp Support Staff, you will:

Facilitate structured group activities, recreational programming, and community-based outings

Support skill development, communication, independence, and daily living skills

Provide direct support in a safe, inclusive, and person-centered environment

Promote social interaction, teamwork, and positive behavior support

Assist with transportation to community locations (parks, pools, movies, events) as assigned

Collaborate with families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
-
Compassionate, patient, and supportive approach
-
Interest in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Reliable attendance and professional work ethic

Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and willingness to transport when assigned
Preferred (but not required):
-
Experience in childcare, camp counseling, behavioral therapy, healthcare, education, or direct support
-
Students or graduates in education, psychology, social work, nursing, pre-OT/PT, or related fields

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- Experience in direct support service and/or working with intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Must complete a background check.
- Must provide:
- Own transportation
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Vehicle registration
- Proof of insurance
- Acceptable driving record.
