Vehicle Model Simulation Intern

You will... - Improve the current actuator models (steering, brake, throttle, and engine brake) to better represent their current behaviour. - Look into better modeling of vehicle transmission system for better offline validation of the motion control system. - Investigate switching to higher fidelity dynamics models and compare them to current models. - Get new data, learn the parameters, and verify new model's ability to represent the vehicle's performance. - Be part of a team of multidisciplinary Research Scientists and Engineers using an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale. - Design, implement, train, and optimize vehicle dynamics and actuator models in simulation.
