DevOps Engineer

VY Systems is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer! Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure. Build, deploy, and manage applications using CI/CD pipelines. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and manage configurations. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into production environments. Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with teams to optimize system performance and deployment processes. Write and maintain scripts in Python for automation and system tasks. Ensure version control using Git and GitHub for code management and deployment. Skill Set Required: Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.). DevOps Tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible. CI/CD Pipelines: Implementation and management of pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment. Scripting/Automation: Proficient in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure. Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting. Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, and Kubernetes for containerized applications. Version Control: Git and GitHub for collaborative code management. Monitoring & Logging: Experience with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools. Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
