Role Description
The VulnX Security Core Team role is a remote opportunity for passionate individuals interested in cybersecurity, software engineering, and secure product development. Team members will work on real-world security projects, research emerging threats, improve platform infrastructure, and contribute to building innovative cybersecurity solutions.
Depending on the role, responsibilities may include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, backend or frontend development, cloud infrastructure management, automation, and security research. Team members will collaborate closely with internal teams to strengthen platform security, improve workflows, and support the development of scalable security-focused products.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and modern security practices
• Knowledge of web application security, APIs, networking, or cloud technologies
• Familiarity with tools and technologies related to the applied role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for cybersecurity, research, and continuous learning
• Experience with Linux, Git, scripting, or development workflows is a plus
• Relevant certifications or prior practical experience are beneficial but not mandatory
