Job Overview:
We are looking for a Mid-Level Front-End Engineer to join our team and contribute to building a next-generation insurance claims management platform using modern technologies. You will work on a product designed to streamline claims processing, improve user experience for case handlers and customers, and enable scalable, secure digital workflows. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, with a strong emphasis on quality, performance, and security.
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development
· Strong proficiency in:
o Vue 3, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
· Hands-on experience with:
o Pinia, Vite
o Vee-Validate with Yup or Zod
o Vitest, Storybook, Playwright
· Experience working in Agile environments
· Experience using Jira and Confluence
· Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, including:
o App Service
o Static Web Apps
o Storage o Functions
· Strong experience with:
o GitHub (PR workflows, CI/CD)
o SonarQube
· Solid understanding of web security principles (OWASP Top 10)
· Professional communication in English
Nice to Have:
· Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulated domains
· Background in consultancy or client-facing roles
· Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG)
· Experience working with complex form-heavy applications
· Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a modern insurance claims management platform using Vue 3 (Composition API)
· Build scalable state management solutions with Pinia
· Optimize performance and developer experience using Vite
· Implement complex form workflows and validation using Vee-Validate with Yup or Zod
· Write and maintain:
o Unit and integration tests with Vitest
o Component-driven UI documentation using Storybook
o End-to-end tests with Playwright
· Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers in Agile/Scrum teams
· Use Jira and Confluence for task tracking, documentation, and knowledge sharing
· Integrate with backend services and deploy via Microsoft Azure:
o App Service
o Static Web Apps
o Storage
o Functions
· Ensure code quality and maintainability using SonarQube
· Manage source control and CI/CD workflows with GitHub
· Utilize AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance productivity
Security & Quality Responsibilities:
· Apply secure coding practices aligned with the OWASP Top 10, including:
o Mitigating XSS, CSRF, and injection risks
o Ensuring proper input validation and output encoding
o Secure handling of authentication flows and session management
o Monitoring and mitigating vulnerable dependencies
• Implement front-end security best practices:
o Content Security Policy (CSP)
o Secure token handling strategies
o Protection against common browser-based attacks
· Participate in code reviews with focus on security, performance, and maintainability
· Contribute to automated quality gates, testing strategies, and static analysis
