Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring and administration of VTOM Job Scheduling Tool installed and implemented in Hitachi Rail Data Centre (MHS) for different Applications in Production SAP France, Primavera, Shared Palma.
- Responsible for implementation and delivery of VTOM for Oracle application (Oracle Project).
- Understand the Architecture and all the technical set up in VTOM Primary Server, VTOM Back-up Server, VTOM agents and VTOM scripts to run VTOM successfully for the above applications.
- Understand the Directory and Folder structure in Applications, VTOM and Globalscape ETF (FTP Server) for transfer of files through different VTOM scripts/ jobs for Integrations between Applications.
- Monitor jobs in Production System Success and failure on daily basis and work with the IS Technical team, Application team to mitigate the issues and reprocess failed jobs.
- Support deployment of security patches for VTOM Servers as per the patching schedule working with NTT Data Team
- Ensure functioning of VTOM tool to meet technical performance standards
- Manage and administer VTOM Pre-Production instance as required to support tests required by Application team for the above application.
- Support testing of Interfaces for applications through VTOM job runs for any changes to existing interfaces in applications SAP France, Primavera and Shared Palma.
- Focus on a project specific deliverable to manage deployment of VTOM scripts to run jobs for Oracle application and Integrations in Oracle Project
- Provide VTOM management services for the application (BAU and Project) working with Application team and IS- Technical team.
- Update VTOM Architecture document and VTOM Administration document for the Oracle Project and maintain records to track progress.
- Work with external service and support providers as required

Essential Requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French (Preferred).
- Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to business managers.
- Trained and certified in VTOM 6.7 and above
- Advanced level experience (5 to 10 years) in implementation and management of VTOM in projects delivery and administration of VTOM for day to day running of VTOM for applications (BAU)
- Windows 10 & 11 In depth knowledge
- Office 2016 Advanced Knowledge
- Focus on a project specific deliverable to manage deployment of VTOM scripts for Jobs in an application and Integrations (Oracle project).
- Provide VTOM management services for the application working with Application team and IS Technical team.
- Update VTOM Architecture document and VTOM Administration document for Oracle Project and maintain records to track progress.
- Accurate record keeping and ability feedback delivery status accurately and in a timely manner
- Extensive practical experience in supporting a complex environment of Integrations and business applications
Qualifications
- ITIL v3 Foundation or equivalent experience
- CompTIA (A+)
- VTOM training certificate from ABSYSS
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with scripting and automation.
- Basic understanding of project management practices.
- A high degree of competency in problem assessment and solving within an ITIL Support Service
- framework
- Familiarity with incident/request management systems (ServiceNow)
