This will be an entry level IT role. Candidate will be expected to understand basic IT Helpdesk responsibilities which include but are not limited to manual set up and installation of customer laptops, desktops and phone systems.
Project will be providing over 3,000 new assets to be deployed with upgrades to all personnel. Position will be full time with at least 8 hours daily. Hours are flexible between 6am to 5pm ET.
- Facilitates the management of over 200 users and ACIO POC for various requests, orders, refresh requirements, new accounts, deactivations, software support, etc.
Daily ad-hoc requests from on-site users; from assisting with application functionality, troubleshooting laptops, NMCI/ERP support, account support, etc.
Maintain/Update SHIPS asset information in MS Access database; including: all SHIPS assets, personnel, wireless devices, hard drives, software and DC seat availability
Assist with logistics and preparation for onsite and offsite tech refresh and asset orders
Assist with ACIO on-board trainings for new TEAM SHIPS employees
Fill-in for meetings, take notes and summarize important points
Moving IT equipment and peripherals from loading station to storage and ultimately delivering to user seats, setup docking stations and assisting users with getting connected; Data and VOIP port validation sweeps
Resources and Business Management – includes 1) management of funds for acquisition and delivery of IM/IT products and services and 2) processes that ensure the availability of IM/IT and ERP services across the TEAM SHIPS enterprise
Data Management – includes information resources, such as enterprise data and data on individual desktop computers, laptops and other electronic devices used in the NAVSEA business environment, as well as the applications which store, manipulate, and deliver data to users
Information Assurance – includes processes for ensuring that NAVSEA activities and programs implement procedures to ensure the security of systems and data commensurate with risks as mandated by FISMA, DoD, and DON policies and guidance
Infrastructure – includes processes to acquire, operate, and retire NAVSEA networks, systems, individual computers, devices, operating software, telecommunications, and associated services that support information management in the TEAM SHIPS environment.
