Who We Are Seeking

An experienced and passionate Trade Assistant to join our Hotel Maintenance team at Ayers Rock Resort who has;

  • Previous experience within a similar role in hotel/facility maintenance
  • Hold a valid Open Australian Drivers Licence (with the ability to convert to NT)
  • Previous experience using hand tools.
  • Hold a valid White Card (or ability to obtain one)
  • Strong commitment to high standard of customer service
  • Have a good level of written and verbal English communication skills

About the role

In this role you will maintain the hotel's facilities and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order to provide a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff, handling minor repairs, general maintenance tasks, and assist with preventive upkeep to enhance the overall guest experience.

The Key Duties To Be Performed Are

  • Carry out all related maintenance and repairs as requested by the Maintenance Manager in a professional like manner.
  • Minor repairs, reprogramming service and fault finding to guest room air - conditioning units, hotel lighting and electronic door locks and room safes
  • Ensure all hotel areas, including guest rooms, offices, conference and function areas, and external areas to the property are maintained and cared for on a timely basis as directed by management
  • Be responsible for the maintenance and security of all tools provided
  • Carry out all preventative maintenance as per the schedule laid by the programmed maintenance manuals

Full Time Position Available| $29.53 per hour (plus superannuation)
