Who We Are Seeking

A passionate and qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career to join our Kitchen Team at Ayers Rock Resort who has;

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship in a similar role
  • Previous experience within a large kitchen operation
  • Experience within a hotel or resort environment
  • Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.

Full time Positions Available

Commis Chef ($31.84 per hour)

Assist the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food to guests by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting the kitchen team in the execution of exceptional culinary experiences.

Demi Chef ($33.24 per hour)

Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Chef de Partie in daily operations, and ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes. The Demi Chef also takes on leadership responsibilities, including training junior staff and stepping into a supervisory role when required.

Cook ($29.53 per hour)Preparing and presenting dishes that meet the hotel's culinary standards and delight guests, by following recipes maintain food safety practices, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment that ensures smooth service and quality cuisine.
