Who We Are Seeking

We are seeking a dedicated and customer focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage Team at Ayers Rock Resort who has;

  • Previous experience in similar role within a 4 or 5-star environment and extensive knowledge of the food & beverage industry
  • Budgeting and cost control skills
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (preferred)
  • Knowledge of financials and payroll
  • Current Australian certified Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Qualification
  • Experience carrying out department inductions and on the job training for new team members

About the role

In this role you will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering a seamless and high-quality food and beverage experience across resort venues. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, leading and mentoring the team, and ensuring service excellence in alignment with Voyages’ standards.

The Key Duties To Be Performed Are

  • Assist in the daily management and supervision of restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and support the food and beverage team to maintain high performance, professionalism, and adherence to company standards.
  • Uphold and promote a strong culture of workplace safety, food safety, and responsible service of alcohol.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager and Chefs to manage stock control, rostering, and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Act as the key point of contact and operational lead in the absence of the Restaurants Manager, ensuring business continuity across venues.

Full time Position Available| $34.13 per hour (plus superannuation)
