We are currently seeking a Housing Support Specialist to join our team in Tulsa, OK! What You Will Do to Change Lives The Housing Support Specialist will cover a set caseload, provide case management, skills training, and referral services for conumers experiencing homelessness or mental health disorders. This position is responsible for completing assessments, service planning, effective coordination of appropriate community services and crisis intervention. In this role you will act as liaison between consumers, their families and service providers. Able to lead individual and group sessions. Transportation of consumers when required. Complete assessment and provide services according to the Individual Services Plan (ISP). Link consumers and/or their families to appropriate community resources, as necessary. Act as landlord liaison, recruiting new landlords and maintaining relationships with current landlords. Qualifications What You Will Bring: Requires travel, primarily within the Tulsa, OK area. May require occasional travel outside of Tulsa, OK. Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Competent user of all MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required. Ability to maintain interpersonal relationships with consumers, their family members, landlords, referral sources, the general public and outside agencies. Strong decision making and organizational skills. Must be self-directed/motivated with sound judgment under stressful situations. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in human services, behavioral health or related field required.
