Sustainable Rural Initiatives for Nurturing India (SRINI) Foundation is a not-for-profit organization focused on empowering rural and underprivileged communities through sustainable, community-driven development. Established with a commitment to grassroots change, the Foundation addresses critical areas such as education, health, digital awareness, women empowerment, livelihood creation, and youth development. Through collaborative projects, village-level initiatives, and a dedicated volunteer network, SRINI aims to create a ripple effect of lasting impact across rural India, helping every individual and village rise with dignity and opportunity.
Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Volunteer role with the SRINI Foundation. As a Volunteer, you will support and implement programs focused on education, health, women empowerment, livelihood development, and youth initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting research, organizing events and workshops, creating content for awareness campaigns, and coordinating with local communities and partners. Volunteers will be engaged in impactful grassroots-level projects, collaborating with a diverse team to drive sustainable change within rural communities.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Experience in organizing and managing events, workshops, and programs is an advantage.
- Research, writing, and content creation abilities, including drafting reports, proposals, and awareness materials.
- Knowledge of rural development, community engagement, education, or healthcare programs will be highly valued.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with a team.
- Proficiency in digital tools, social media, and Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
- Passion for social impact and community development; prior volunteering experience is a plus.
