Role Description The Volunteer role at Cinch is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. In this role, the volunteer supports daily operations related to device management, customer engagement, and sustainability initiatives. Typical tasks may include assisting with inventory organization, coordinating device distribution or collection, helping with basic data entry and documentation, and supporting team members on ongoing projects and events. The volunteer may also contribute to educational or outreach activities that promote circular economy practices and responsible technology use. This role is suited for individuals who want to gain practical experience in a fast-growing tech and sustainability environment while supporting Cinch’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in technology, sustainability, and circular economy concepts, with a willingness to learn and contribute to mission-driven work.
- Basic organizational and administrative skills, including comfort with handling devices, maintaining records, and following structured processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, interact with customers or partners, and support outreach activities.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Mumbai, manage time responsibly, and follow safety and operational guidelines.
- Self-motivated, proactive attitude with a focus on reliability, accountability, and respectful, inclusive teamwork.
- Prior volunteer experience, familiarity with tech devices, or studies in business, environmental science, engineering, or related fields are beneficial but not required.
